A couple of months back I wrote about how I was expanding my doll collection because my interests have shifted from the popular 18" doll to the newer smaller dolls available. After purchasing a couple of A Girl of All Times dolls, Ruby Red and a Siblies, I decided that I would add a Paola Reina Doll to my collection. So back in July, I purchased Carla on Etsy from Perfect Yarn.
Last week, after she arrived, I just couldn't believe how beautiful she is. She has long flowing blonde hair and blue eyes. She came dressed in pajamas. Not only does she have the sweetest face, but she is very well made and extremely affordable given the price of the other dolls available.
I have since renamed her Contessa and have decided that I would devout the majority of my sewing and crafting towards these dolls. I look forward to sharing many new sewing adventures in the near future.
