It's been awhile since I've done a week in review, but decided that it was time that I started again. I find that writing them helps to keep me on track and review what I've accomplished during the week. Sometimes I don't get as much accomplished as I would like, and I've finally accepted the fact that that's ok! It will get done when it get's done :)
Honestly, I believe I did more shopping last week than sewing (ssh don't tell my husband lol). I did however get the new branding all set up - Goodbye Chic Sizzle/Chez Elinor - Hello Oh la la Doll Boutique! I'm pretty excited about the new branding - it bright and cheery, and I love cherry blossoms, they're so pretty, it's a shame they don't last longer! Here's a peek at the new branding
More Dolls
I may have purchased a few dolls during the past week. Ok, I purchased three dolls lol. First I purchased a couple of Ruby Red Fashion Friends on the 20th and on the 26th Sarah and the Siblie Bailey arrived. I have to admit I was pretty impressed with how quickly they arrived. Never did I expect them to arrive within a week of ordering them - it was a covid miracle!
I'm really looking forward to sewing more for these smaller sized dolls. One of the reason that I'm trading in my AG dolls for the AGFAT dolls is the jointed limbs, I love the fact that they can be posed.
Next up was a pre-order for Helena by A Girl for All Time. I couldn't resist. Aside from the fact that she's absolutely beautiful, she's from the Regency Era, one of my favourite era's to sew for and her name. My grandmother's middle name is Helena, after her great-aunt.
Not that I want to rush what summer that we have up here in the North, I really can't wait for her to arrive. I'm positive that fall this year will take forever to arrive lol.
I did manage to get three of these tea dresses almost finished by Sew Dolled Up 81. I should have some pictures ready to post on Instagram by the end of this week. If you click on the picture below it will take you to the pattern on Etsy :)
I cut two of each for AGFAT, RRFF and Siblies. I'm hoping to have a release on the 24th providing my labels come in.

This Weeks Plans
This week I plan on finishing up the tea dresses, they still need to be hemmed because I couldn't decide on whether or not I wanted to put a ruffle on the inner skirt. I also have a couple more of the tea dresses cut that need to be sewn up.
